Wednesday, 13 May 2015 - Residents of Nairobi had a hard time commuting to and from the city’s central business district after flash floods occasioned by a heavy downpour rendered most roads completely impassable.
Most city dwellers, including students from Makini School, were forced to spend hours braving the cold as they waited for the flood waters to subside. A lady by the name @DeeKerubo was also among the hundreds of city dwellers who were stuck in traffic for hours an end as she apparently got to her place at 3am in the morning.
To worsen her situation, when she arrived at her work place in the morning, she had no place to go to as her office was totally submerged by the flood waters.
"As if last night's ordeal of getting home at almost 3am was not enough, I have no office to go to today..." She posted on social media accompanied by the photos below,
