See what might happen to KTN’s JEFF KOINANGE after court found him guilty

Saturday, 06 June 2015 - Renowned KTN talk show host, Jeff Koinange might be locked up in jail for at least six months if he fails to pay a fine of Kshs 2 million as ordered by a Nairobi court.

The Jeff Koinange Live show host, was found guilty of disobeying a court order issued against him a few weeks ago.

Businessman Tonny Gachoka, who was Jeff’s co-accused, and Standard Group company secretary, Carol Cheruiyot were also fined similar amounts.

Mr Koinange and Mr Gachoka’s woes begun when the two discussed the conduct of a company in the media despite a court order barring them not to do so.

A few days ago, Mr Koinange was forced to forfeit a Kshs 100,000 cash bail after he failed to appear in court for a scheduled hearing.

He however presented himself before the court and apologized for failing to honour the summon and explained why he skipped the court session to attend a conference in Abidjan, Ivory Coast.
