Wednesday, 30 September 2015 - Last weekend, award winning Kenyan music band, Sauti Sol made history after they performed on the same stage with world renowned musicians such as Beyonce, Ed Sheeran, Coldplay and Leonardo Di Caprio in New York at the Global Citizen Festival.
After their memorable performance in front of over 60,000 revellers, the band members had the opportunity to meet and interact with more celebrities such as Jay Z, Usher, actress Kerry Washington, multi billionaire business men Richard Branson and Bill Gates, among many others.
However, the one of a kind trip had one more surprising twist for members of the music group as on their flight home, they were taken aback to find out that they were on the same flight as Morgan Heritage.
Sauti Sol’s Savara took to social media to express his surprise and proceeded to welcome the reggae music group to the country.
“About last night : So it happened that the legendary Peter Morgan #MorganHeritage and I were actually on the same flight ... What a lovely surprise upon landing . Welcome to Nairobi mi breda!
