At only 25, Diamond continues to make history, Imagine he is the first musician to do this!

Wednesday, 16 September 2015 - Diamond Platnumz is arguably East Africa’s most successful musician. The Number One hit maker has grown in leaps and bounds to become a household name in the region. 

The Bongo music star prides himself in being able to produce music that transcends generations and nationalities, something that has seen him bag international awards and collaborate with international stars, such as NeYo. 

The 25 year old singer, who recently became a father,  has yet again hit another milestone in his career after he became the first East African artist to have over 1 Million followers on instagram. A fete that is by no means easy.

This makes him the first musician in East Africa to hit the 1million mark, joining Kenyan actress Lupita Nyongo, Nigeria's Davido and Wiz Kid who are the only other artistes to hit the 1 million followers on the Instagram.
