“Don’t be fooled!” Mejja WARNS his FANS after someone did this using his name

Friday, 25 September 2015 - Popular Kenyan musician Mejja is an angry man. 

This is after an event promoter decided to use his name to promote an event which he was not party to. 

Through social media, Mejja blasted ‘Egerton Campus Life’ for using his name to promote a party dubbed ‘Freshers Night’ and went ahead to warn his fans not be conned as he would not be gracing the event. 

“I am not performing in this event. Don’t be fooled” Mejja posted on his instagram page. 

This is not the first time local promoters have knowingly used names of renowned musicians to promote their shows while they are aware that they have not contracted the said musicians creating unnecessary beef between the targeted musician and his/her fans. 

It’s high time this uncouth behaviour amongst these rogue promoters stopped, if the local music industry is to grow.
