Meet the 12 year old boy from Kenya who everyone is talking about in New York(PHOTOs)

Tuesday, September 29, 2015 – A 12 year old boy from Kenya living with HIV, on Sunday took the world by surprise when he received a standing ovation from hundreds of delegates, who attended the United Nations conference on Aids.

Elijah Zachary Lamaiyan Sime, who is a student at Nyawai Academy in Nairobi, shared his passionate story as a survivor of HIV and the challenges young people, who are living with the virus face.

Shortly after concluding his opening remarks, the 12 year old boy met with President Uhuru Kenyatta, who congratulated him with a high five.
