Oh My God! See the amount of Money SONKO paid KTN for the live coverage of his father's burial.

Wednesday, 16 September 2015-On Tuesday, all roads led to Mua Hills In Machakos, for the burial of Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko’s later father, Mzee Gideon Kavanguli, who died at the age of 66 after suffering from a short illness.

Majority of prominent politicians put aside their busy political schedule and graced the  burial to pay their last respect to Sonko’s father.

However, it was not just any other burial since the flamboyant Senator  spent millions of shillings to give his father a decent send off.

Sonko is alleged to have paid Ksh 5 million for the live coverage of the burial event that was aired on KTN. Apparently, KTN charges Ksh 1.2 Million per hour for live coverage excluding a VAT of 16 % and the burial of Sonko’s late father was aired for four hours. One could even confuse the burial to a political rally due to the number of politicians who came to offer him emotional support while others like Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua and his rival Johnstone Muthama used the free air-time to engage in a war of words.

As if that was not enough, Sonko ensured that his late father was buried in gold and diamond encrusted coffin that may have cost several millions. See it below.
