Sunday, 20 September 2015 - Popular Mombasa based singer, Akothee has angered a section of her fans.

This is after she took to social media to bluntly lash out at widows who have a tendency of neglecting their children claiming that they were broke.

According to the talented singer, who is a mother of five, such ladies are just lazy as losing one’s husband does not translate to being handicapped. 

The Djele Djele hit maker went ahead to urge widows to take up blue collar jobs and work as hard as possible in order to maintain their family after they lose their husbands.
