This is why being a LUO made sultry talented actress LUPITA NYONG'O uncomfortable

Friday, September 18, 2015 – Oscar award winning actress, Lupita Nyong’o, has now decided to open up on how Luo made her uncomfortable.

Speaking during a recent interview with Vogue Magazine, the sultry talented actress said that during auditions in Kenya for a TV role, she used to be told that her skin was too dark.

However, according Lupita, this did not discourage her from pursuing her dreams of being an actress.

She further added that she was pressured to use Swahili or English and not dholuo while communicating, because no Kenyan schools allowed students to speak their mother tongue.

“So there was a certain amount of shame attached to my mother tongue”. She said.

Lupita, who was asked whether she would bring up her kids in Kenya or America, had this to say “I think that will all be determined when I have that moment. When I have that man.”.
