Hilarious:KOT troll Bongoma Governor for his ‘strange’ reason of buying #WheelbarrowYa100k

Tuesday, 08 September 2015- Kenyans took to social media to express their shock and disbelief after news broke that Bungoma County government had purchased ten wheelbarrows at a cost of Ksh 109,000  each.

Bungoma residents, led by human rights activist, Lumumba Wekesa, questioned how a wheelbarrow could cost as much as a brand new motorcycle terming the actions by their County Government as 'graft of the highest order'.

However,  Bungoma Governor, Ken Lusaka, has  defended the purchase of 10 wheelbarrows saying that are non-carcinogenic (not causing cancer) and are specially designed to be used in the food industry.

“The information that I am getting from the veterinary department is that these are not the ordinary wheelbarrows that we know. These are wheelbarrows that are made of stainless, non-carcinogenic material and are used in the food industry,” said Mr Lusaka

But this did not stop  Kenyans on twitter from lashing out at the Bungoma Governor for his exorbitant purchase: But some of the reactions from KOT are just hilarious.
