Is gospel star SIZE 8 a petty thief? This confession will shock many (Look)

Friday, 23 October 2015 -Popular Kenyan gospel singer Linet Munyali popularly known as Size 8 was once a petty thief.

The super talented singer made the startling revelation during a recent media interview where she also highlighted her humble upbringing.

According to the Mateke hit maker, she was born in a poor family where her parents struggled to make ends meet adding that they were forced to steal water and electricity as they could not legitimately afford the basic needs.

Size 8, who is expecting her first child with celebrity hubby and gospel disc jockey, DJ Mo, reminisced when, together with her siblings, she stole, slaughtered and ate a neighbour’s chicken.

“I was born and raised in Nairobi’s Eastlands estate of Maringo. As a family, we were so poor that we lacked enough food. We used to steal neighbour’s chicken because we couldn’t afford to buy any. We stole water and electricity too. My parents couldn’t even afford to buy me sanitary pads. And I had to find alternatives,” The singer revealed.

However, Size 8 did not allow her upbringing to deter her from achieving her dreams and she persistently pursued her aspiration of becoming a successful musician.

“I became so heartbroken after many radio presenters failed to play my CD. I used to stalk them and they hated me for it. People criticised my videos but I never gave up. Everybody who I told about my ideas just laughed at me.” The singer revealed.

Years later, the gospel star is reaping the benefits of her hard work as just recently she opened her own business.

“On October 1, I opened a day care and a kindergarten in Buru Buru Phase One and my other product (undisclosed) will be in supermarkets soon. I have achieved all this from my network in music.” The singer proudly said.
