Monday, 26 October 2015 - Popular Kenyan gospel singer, Size 8 has told off her critics who have been condemning her for performing while still pregnant.
Speaking
during a recent media interview, the Mateke hit maker, who was recently harshly criticized for giving a mentor-ship talk in her current state, disclosed that
she does not intend to use her pregnancy as an excuse to avoid work.
The singer seems to be drawing her inspiration from Citizen TV’s news anchor, Janet Mbugua, whom she congratulated for working through her pregnancy.
According to Size 8, Janet was the epitome of a strong woman as she did not use her condition to take an early leave.

The talented singer went ahead to express her admiration on how Janet dealt with the negative criticism she received from some members of the public who felt that she should not work while pregnant.
According to Size 8, Janet was a voice for the 'normal pregnant Kenyan woman, who doesn't have the luxury of citing pregnancy as an excuse to avoid work.

"Janet
Mbugua has been so strong; even how she handles her haters. I am very proud of
her, she was strong, kept the haters off and spoke for a normal pregnant Kenyan
woman who doesn’t have the luxury of citing pregnancy as an excuse to avoid
work. I loved how she motivated other women and her positive attitude. I want
to tell those who were attacking Janet for reading news while expectant that
their reproach was really uncalled for and wrong by all means. Women in Africa who
are even past 36 weeks pregnant carry babies on their backs and go to the streams
to fetch water," Size 8 said.
Meanwhile,
Size 8’s fans have continued to express their support for the soon to be mum.
