Bad Omen? Nigerian singer DAVIDO robbed off Ksh. 19 million in South Africa

Sunday, November 15, 2015 – Nigerian singer, Davido, and his crew are going through one of the worst days in their lives after they were robbed at gunpoint in South Africa, shortly after leaving the airport.

The incident, which took place on Saturday, saw the flamboyant singer and his crew being accosted by two armed men when they were waiting for the traffic lights to open.

The thugs are said to have made away with Ksh. 19 million.

Davido, who later confirmed the incident in a Snapchat video, said that it was really traumatizing. 

He also took to his twitter page to thank God for enabling him to escape unhurt. 

“Thank God for my life. If it were not for him, it would have been a different story,” Davido tweeted, adding: “My daughter’s face was flashing through my eyes the whole time.” 

Davido is in South Africa ahead of his performance at the ‘African Music Concert’, that is slated to take place on November 21.
