Big blow to KTN as JOHN ALLAN NAMU exits the Mombasa road based media station

Thursday, November 19, 2015 – Mombasa road based media station KTN has suffered a major blow after Special Projects Editor; John Allan Namu resigned on Wednesday evening.

It’s alleged that Mr. Namu, who is also a news anchor, exited the station due to frustrations with the management for not giving priority to his work.

The lad, who started his career at KTN in 2005, will be venturing into private business to produce TV shows.

Kassim Mohammed, who is the producer of Jicho Pevu, an investigative series by Mohammed Ali, will also be leaving.

It will be remembered that during the period he was on TV, Mr. Namu bagged an award in 2009 during the CNN Multichoice as the journalist of the year because of his stories 'In the shadow of the Mungiki' and Scars and Sufurias'.

John Allan Namu's resignation follows that of Ian Wafula, who was poached by K24 TV, which is owned by Mediamax last week.
