Mwachambuli Saria, popularly known by his stage name Top K, reportedly got rid of his wife of four years after he was unable to deal with her wayward tendencies.
Speaking to the media after word got out about his bizarre situation, Top K disclosed that he could no longer stay married to the mother of his child as their relationship had turned into battle field.
According to the popular Ukunda entertainer, his wife had made it a habit to sleep in his friend’s house routinely leaving their young child with a neighbour whom she used to pay Sh200 on a daily basis.
“We started so well and I loved my wife so much. I remember our first year was so peaceful and God blessed us with a bouncing baby girl. But lately she has not been sleeping in my house and she has been communicating with him (the friend) a lot. When I asked her where she got his number she refused answer. I decided to beat her up and that’s when she told me the truth,” the entertainer revealed.
Top K then decided to do what many may consider bizarre as he approached his friend, who had been sleeping with his wife, and struck an agreement where the friend would pay a KSh 500 transfer fee and refund him Kshs 2,000 he had paid to the woman's parents in order for him to take her and stay with her.
Interestingly, the man only paid a deposit of Sh200 and has since been introducing the woman as his wife to other villagers, a move that has angered top K.
“I heard he is planning to marry her. That cannot happen until he clears my debt plus an additional Sh2,000 which I paid to her family during my introduction,” the angry musician said.
