Monday, November 16, 2015 – Former KTN news anchor, Mwanaisha Chidzunga, who a few months ago was shown the door at Standard Group as she prepared to read news, is now set to make a comeback in the media industry.
According to our reliable source, Mwanaisha will be working as a news reporter at K24 TV, which is owned by Mediamax.
It’s alleged that she has already signed a contract and will be starting work today. This comes barely a few days after the Kijabe street based media station sacked top journalists.
Among those who were shown the door are business editor Solomon Kirimi, senior reporter Janet Chapia, Chris Thairu, Dancun Khaemba, Geoffrey Wachira, Wycliffe Orandi, Purity Mwambia Anders Ihachi, Rebecca Nandwa (sub editor) Robert Onsare (sub editor) and Rose Wanjiku (sub editor), Wanjohi Githae (Parliament news reporter), Maureen Ng'ang'a (news reporter) Soni Kaneke, Pocyline Karani, Racheal Mburu (court reporter) Eric Nyakagwa (political editor), Kamau Ngotho (special projects editor) and Millicent Muthoni (Magazines Editor).
