SAD: Citizen TV’s KAMBUA in grief: “She gone but won’t be forgotten”

Tuesday, 24 November 2015 - Renowned Kenyan gospel singer and TV host, Kambua is mourning the death of an 8 year old girl who succumbed to cancer.

The Citizen TV’s Kubamba show host, who had persistently urged her fans and followers to pray for the little angel who was suffering from a malignant nerve sheath tumor, announced the death of her young friend  via her instagram page, saying.

"This precious little one has finally rested from #Cancer and all the cares of this world. #Taquida is finally healed; not in the way we hoped for, but in the way God saw fit. I know angels welcomed her…she had been talking about seeing angels in her hospital room. Rest in glory little one. Dance with the angels😇. You were here, and will never be forgotten."

Earlier, Kambua had sent out this message:

"A few months ago I asked you, my #instafam to pray for my little friend, Taquida. She is 8, and has been battling #malignantnervesheathtumor. (Cancer of the connective tissue surrounding nerves). She is in hospital and trying to be very brave. Please pray for her. Pray for her family. Pray for her friends…all those who love her."
