Safaricom finds itself in hot soup for ‘working’ with conmen: This is heartbreaking (Look)

Sunday, 15 November 2015 - Leading Kenyan Telecommunications Company, Safaricom recently found itself in hot soup after it apparently registered a paybill number that was being used by conmen to rob unsuspecting Kenyans.

According to a viral social media post on the popular Killimani Mums group, conmen had legitimately registered the paybill number in which the general public had been urged to contribute money to be used to cater for the medical bill of a child who had already passed on.
