Friday, 13 November 2015 - A woman has moved to court suing another woman for allegedly stealing her golden chain after sleeping with her husband.
Grace Muthoni Karanja, a Nairobi businesswoman, told police that her sickly husband allegedly sneaked his ‘side dish,’ Alice Ngina , into their matrimonial bed in Ridgeways estate on September 16.
Grace has accused Ngina of stealing her gold chain valued at Sh180,000 while she was away in Uganda on a business trip.
She reportedly received a call from her house help informing her that her husband had locked himself in their bedroom with the accused. The court heard that Ngina had to be forcefully ejected by people sent by Grace. But when she returned home on September 18, she reportedly found the golden chain missing and suspected Ngina.
The prosecution said that Grace also found Ngina’s identity card in the bedroom. The accused denied the charges and was released on a Sh50,000 cash bail. The matter will be heard on March 9, 2016.
