Ujaluo ni gharama. A popular Nairobi businessman blows millions in his wife's baby shower

Thursday, November 19, 2015 – Nairobi businessman, Chris Okeyo Obure, on Saturday last week decided to prove that money is not a problem to him by splashing millions on his wife's baby shower.

The invite-only event, which took place at the luxurious Villa Rosa Kempinski hotel in Nairobi, saw only family members, friends and top over 100 guests in attendance among them Eve De Souza, Yvonne Khamati, Kendi Mwiti-Otieno and the wife of Nairobi wealthy businessman, Jared K. Otieno. 

 And after a sumptuous dinner, Chris Obure made a special 15 minutes appearance and showered his wife with several gifts including; a Samsung S6 Edge Plus phone, a holiday trip to the Bahamas Islands and Ksh1 million.

For those who don’t know Chris, he is the guy who blew the whistle on the blood gold scams in 2010 before fleeing to South Africa in fear of his life.
