'Enyewe English came by ship': You won’t believe what this student wrote on his graduation day

Saturday, 19 December 2015 - Kenyans on social media have reacted in shock and dismay after a graduate from a local university displayed his poor language skills on social media.

The graduate had taken to his Facebook page to express his joy for having completed his studies. However, his command of the queen’s language was thoroughly questioned as despite having been in the university for four years, the young man could not construct a comprehensive statement in English. 

The former student's post, which has gone viral, has seen many social media users question the credibility of local universities, with many asking how the student used to write his exams and how he was allowed to graduate.
