Mashida ni ya muda! Singer AKOTHEE causes a stir on social media after doing this (Look)

Wednesday, 16 December 2015 - Popular Kenya singer, Akothee has urged ladies not be inconsolable when a man impregnates them and later dumps them or worse, neglects their child.

Laying her sentiments on social media, the mother of five stated that it was time ladies started taking responsibility of their pregnancies adding that ladies need to understand that they also had a role to play in conceiving.

The singer went ahead to use her life experience to encourage ladies not to abort regardless of their condition adding that unbearable conditions are never permanent.

“Continue crying that he made you pregnant & dumped you, kwani you you dint participate? Look at how we roll with the fruits of our womb #‎saynotoabortion #‎bebamzigowako mama, hawa walikuja na mabakuli tulingangana kuzijaza na hata hivyo bado tuko hai, shidaa haidumu, usilie mama , no condition is permanent “ The songstress posted on her Facebook page accompanied by the photo below:
However, the singer's words of wisdom elicited mixed reactions from her fans where some supported her while others claimed that she did not have the moral authority to advise ladies on wht to do given her background.

Below is a sample of her fans' reactions:

I hate women who don't empower others. This post actually elevates a man who left the woman to fend for the child alone.'
