'Acheni Utoto! Mna Sinya' Gospel star lashes out at Bahati & Wily Paul for doing this

Wednesday, January 13, 2016 -‘We have had enough of your silly, childish fights and arguments every now and then this is the message popular Kenyan gospel singer L Jay Maasai had for his counterparts in the industry Bahati and Willy Paul.

This followed a renewed rivalry between the two gospel stars with each accusing the other of playing with the emotions of their fans. The latest squabble was reignited by Willy Paul who penned down an emotional letter claiming that Bahati has been creating false stories to taint his image in order to gain more fans and publicity.

But according to L Jay,the constant bickering between the two gospel artists was not only childish, stupid and irritating, but was also damaging the reputation of other musicians by tainting the image of the entire gospel industry.

“It’s very annoying and irritating to be lumped negatively with the statement that always starts; “you gospel artists” have done this, have done that…” L Jay Said.

The Laleiyio hit maker is now urging the two gospel stars to stop with their side shows and concentrate in spreading the gospel.

Below is L Jay’s statement:

"Nkt!! Bahati and Willy Paul, I think that i speak for many people/fans/artists and music industry stake holders when i say that we are tired and have had enough of your silly, childish fights and arguments every now and then. Yani mna Sinya na hizi story za ki fala kila wakati. Personally nime wa Shiba. Honestly, I cry for our generation if these are the people they are to look up to..

Ok, sawa tunajua mkona issues, but what does the Bible say about conflict
Matthew 18:15-17

“If your brother sins, go and show him his fault in private; if he listens to you, you have won your brother. “But if he does not listen to you, take one or two more with you, so that BY THE MOUTH OF TWO OR THREE WITNESSES EVERY FACT MAY BE CONFIRMED. “If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church; and if he refuses to listen even to the church, let him be to you as a Gentile and a tax collector. Usiletee ma fans social media hiyo ni publicity stunt. Watu sio wajinga!

Najua we are all not perfect but you guys have completely turned the gospel ministry into showbiz and a battle field where we are fighting against each other. Trying to bring one down, so that the other might be on top we are now governed by jelousy, hypocrasy and pretence.

You guys need to grow up!! Act a little more mature and concentrate on your ministries. Na sitachoka kuwaambia ukweli. (And i hope that if nd ever i mistake or loose track there will b someone to correct nd tell me the truth^aki nitaskiza) if you go through comments about your issues on the posts you did on Social media and those by blogs, your thousands of fans are also tired, you have confused them, there are those that are angry at you, those that feel cheated, it hurts me sana Maze Bahati and Willy because they are the same people other ministers take ministry seriously preach and reach out to but here you are misleading them. We need to check ourselves twice.. i will not preach to you and give you tonnes of Bible verses because i believe you know all these but you are just soo soaked up in Showbiz you forget that it is God that sent us.

I will repeat; Mna Sinya na hizi story za ki fala kila wakati. Please grow up!! Muache utoto!!! It’s too much now my brothers.. It’s too much honestly Speaking.

Its very annoying and irritating to be lumped negatively with the statement that always starts; “you gospel artists” have done this, have done that…

why im i involving myself in this fight again.. the explanation lies in Ezekiel 33.. (Kindly read and understand the role of the watchman his duty and the consequences if he fails to perfom his role)

Wacha tu Serve God in Truth and in Spirit La sivyo watu waende secular”
