Salim passed
on Saturday morning at the Nakuru War Memorial Hospital.
According to
his close family members, the Mugithi artiste succumbed to an illness that had
seen him hospitalized for a couple of days.
“My brother has been sick for quite
some time. He died this morning after being admitted to the War Memorial
Hospital," Salim’s brother told the Daily Nation.
Salim will
be remembered for his countless gospel and secular songs that proved to be thoroughly entertaining. He will be particularly be remember for his catchy rendition of the
hit song, Muti Uyu Mukwona.

rest in Peace.
