Wednesday, January 27, 2016 - Former Citizen TV news anchor, Julie Gichuru recently handed a Kshs 100, 000 cheque to an upcoming Kenyan musician for his outstanding sense of fashion.

Brian Muriuki, a fashion blogger and a member of the Christ Cycoz Gospel music group, beat hundreds of other fashion bloggers to emerge the best of the best at the recently held Mimi fashion blogger competition. 

Mr Brian walked home with a cool Kshs 100, 000 after he gathered the most votes. His closest competitor bagged a cash prize of Ksh. 25,000 and a MIMI voucher while the 2nd runners up walked away with Ksh. 10, 000 and a MIMI Goodie bag.

Julie, who is the founder and CEO of online shopping store MIMI Collection, started the fashion blogger competition with an aim to appreciate their work.
