 Monday, March 8, 2021 – In this photo that was taken in a recent public function attended by Deputy President William Ruto, a young man is seen removing his sandals before stepping on the red carpet to address the second in command.

It’s not clear whether he did it willingly or he was instructed to do so by his handlers for PR purposes.
