Friday, January 21, 2022 – Deputy President William Ruto’s office has set the record straight on whether he will be gracing Amani National Congress (ANC) Party Leader Musalia Mudavadi’s much anticipated National Delegates Committee (NDC) meeting slated for 23rd, January 2022, at the Bomas of Kenya.
On Thursday, there were speculations that DP Ruto will be among the guests invited to grace the occasion where ANC‘s NDC will endorse Mudavadi as the party’s flagbearer in August.
However, Ruto through his spokesman, David Mugonyi, confirmed that he will not attend the highly publicised event.
Mugonyi also said DP Ruto has not received an invite from ANC and he will not attend the meeting.
“We have not received an invite directing our inquiries to Mudavadi’s party,” Mugonyi said after being asked by journalists whether the second in command will attend the function.
