 Saturday, February 12, 2022  – A video has emerged of Bungoma Senator, Moses Wetangula, campaigning for Azimio La Umoja Movement instead of the Kenya Kwanza Alliance.

In the video, Wetangula, who was campaigning with Deputy President William Ruto in Nakuru County, mistakenly urged Kenyans to support former Prime Minister Raila Odinga’s Azimio La Umoja movement instead of Kenya Kwanza Alliance.

“We have come here with William Ruto together with Musalia Mudavadi and Rigathi Gachagua to ask you one thing, that you vote for Azimi…,” Wetangula said.

“Support our group Kenya Kwanza because it is the group that cares about the issues affecting Kenyans,” Wetangula added

Wetangula’s incident comes barely days after a parliamentary aspirant in Nambale, Busia County made the same blunder and endorsed Raila’s Azimio during Ruto’s visit to Western Kenya.

“You vote for Azimio of Kenya Kwanza. The one headed by the hustler himself, his excellency, Dr. William Samoei Ruto,” the aspirant stated.

During the rally on February 7, Ruto was seen looking away in disappointment after the mistake by the politician.
