Monday, February 21, 2022 – It is now official that former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka has agreed to join former Prime Minister Raila Odinga’s Azimio La Umoja Movement after having a series of meetings with President Uhuru Kenyatta.
According to sources, Kalonzo who is also the Wiper Democratic Movement party leader has been meeting Uhuru together with KANU Chairman Gideon Moi.
The source said Kalonzo will attend a joint ODM and Jubilee National Delegates Convention on Saturday, where the deal will be inked.
President Kenyatta will be present at the signing ceremony, creating a behemoth political force with multiple parties with multiple conditions for inclusion.
In the deal, Kalonzo demanded a share of government appointments and the running mate position.
