Thursday, February 10, 2022 – Murang’a Woman Representative, Sabina Chege, has responded to claims by Kenya Kwanza Alliance that the Azimio la Umoja Movement plans to rig the upcoming General Elections slated for August 9, 2022.
Speaking during an Azimio campaign rally in Vihiga County on Thursday, Chege told off Deputy President William Ruto, who claimed that there was a wider scheme to rig him out of the country’s top seat in favour of Raila Odinga.
The outspoken Jubilee legislator hinted that the DP was well aware of how the ruling party, Jubilee, came into power in 2017.
She said the former Premier won the 2017 election but he was rigged out by President Uhuru Kenyatta’s government.
Sabina said just like the way they rigged Raila in 2017, they will use the same unconventional methods to rig out DP Ruto in August.
She also dismissed claims that Baba is a government project, saying he is a people’s project.
“Baba has walked with the people and has become their project.
“Now we want to make him the people’s president.
“I urge you to turn up and vote because we already know that we have the numbers,” Chege said.
