Friday, February 11, 2022 – Talented vocalist, Bien Baraza of Sauti Sol, has disclosed that he almost parted ways with his wife Chiki, eight months after their wedding.
Speaking in an interview, Bien said they got married shortly before the Covid-19 pandemic and after the lockdown was imposed, they were forced to spend lots of time together indoors.
Bien revealed that spending all day together at home started getting on his nerves.
“As amazing as she is, being in the house all day long together was driving me nuts.
“The small things became the big thing. Eight months in, I decided that I wanted a divorce. It was too much,’’ he said.
When they were dating, he was always travelling but after they got married, their true colours started to show.
“As we spent time together during the pandemic, our true colours started to show,’’ he added.
Bien was forced to go for counseling sessions to prevent his marriage from falling apart.
