See who UHURU has invited to grace Jubilee’s NDC where he will officially part ways with RUTO and endorse RAILA for president? It is over for the DP!

Thursday, February 10, 2022 – ODM Leader Raila Odinga and the One Kenya Alliance (OKA) principals are among the 4,000 delegates invited to attend the Jubilee party’s big meeting.

The ruling outfit is scheduled to hold its NDC on February 25 and 26 where the outgoing President Uhuru Kenyatta is expected to formally endorse ODM leader Raila Odinga’s presidential bid.

Jubilee National Management Committee (NMC) and Parliamentary leadership convened on Tuesday to finalize the list of invited guests.

The outfit plans to invite Raila and other friendly parties, including the OKA that brings together Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka, Kanu Chairman Gideon Moi, Cyrus Jirongo of United Democratic Party, and Narc-Kenya leader Martha Karua.

“What we agreed on as far as the NDC is concerned are operational issues on who comes for the convention and how many delegates from each county.”

“We are dealing with about 4,000 delegates but we are also cognizant of the Ministry of Health’s Covid-19 guidelines,” said Jubilee Secretary General Raphael Tuju.

At the same time, Tuju also extended an invitation to Deputy President William Ruto’s allies who feel uncomfortable being in UDA.

“Some of those who have been declaring allegiance elsewhere are also planning to come back.

“You saw Wangui Ngirichi (Kirinyaga Woman Rep) at State House and there are a few more expected to come back,” he disclosed.

Coincidentally, the Jubilee’s NDC and that of the Orange Democratic Movement have been planned to take place on the same dates.

However, it is not clear whether Raila will attend Jubilee’s NDC or the ODM’s big meeting.
