Thursday, February 10, 2022 – President Uhuru Kenyatta is among senior government leaders who have endorsed former Prime Minister Raila Odinga’s presidential bid in August.
Uhuru, who has served for two 5 year terms, is supposed to go to Gatundu in August and pave the way for a new leader who will try to revive the ailing economy and try to control the endemic corruption that has metastasized in the entire government.
Uhuru, in his many statements, had indicated that he settled on Raila Odinga because he is the man who can unite Kenyans and take the country forward.
The President has also been terming Raila Odinga as a forgiving person who has the interests of Kenyans at heart.
However, a video has emerged of Uhuru bastardizing Raila in 2017, accusing him of sabotaging his government.
In the video, Uhuru severally urged Raila to be ashamed of himself.
