Friday, March 18, 2022 – Wiper Democratic Movement party leader, Kalonzo Musyoka, has once again sent a message that may be construed to mean he is yet to settle on Azimio La Umoja Movement.
Last Saturday, Kalonzo accompanied by an army of Wiper leaders and supporters, endorsed Raila Odinga’s presidential bid and also vowed to campaign for Azimio La Umoja Movement and the old man.
But for the last six days, Kalonzo has been issuing conflicting messages on his support for Azimio and this has forced many to question his stance on the political bandwagon.
On Monday this week, Kalonzo threw a spanner into the works when he said he didn’t know what he signed when he joined Azimio La Umoja Movement.
Kalonzo further criticised the Azimio movement, saying there are doubts about the transparency of the process, stating that most of the parties were not aware of what they signed.
Now, to add salt to injury, Kalonzo has said there are still further negotiations going on between Azimio and One Kenya Alliance (OKA) and so far nothing has been agreed.
“Nothing is agreed until it is agreed on the Azimio – One Kenya Grand Alliance.” Kalonzo tweeted on Friday morning.
