Critic Choice Award 2023: See the full winners list

Monday, 16 January 2023 – The 28th Annual Critics Choice Awards aired live on Sunday, January 15, and it was hosted by Chelsea Handler.

The Critics’ Choice Movie Awards which is presented annually by the American-Canadian Critics Choice Association, honours the finest in cinematic achievement.

Heading into the night, A24’s Everything Everywhere All at Once led the film nominations with 14 nods, followed by Steven Spielberg’s The Fabelmans with 11. On the TV side, ABC’s hit comedy Abbott Elementary led with six, followed by Better Call Saul‘s sixth and final season with five.

But Everything Everywhere took the night’s top honor, Best Picture, as well as Best Supporting Actor (for Ke Huy Quan), Best Director (for Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert), Best Original Screenplay, and Best Editing.

Better Call Saul dominated the television awards, winning Best Drama Series, Best Actor in a Drama Series (for Bob Odenkirk), and Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series (for Giancarlo Esposito). Meanwhile, Abbott Elementary and The Dropout both won two awards apiece — Best Comedy Series and Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for Sheryl Lee Ralph for the former, and Best Limited Series and Best Actress in a Limited Series for Amanda Seyfried for the latter.

Elsewhere in the evening, John Goodman presented Jeff Bridges with the Lifetime Achievement Award, while Kate Hudson presented the SeeHer Award to her Glass Onion costar Janelle Monáe.
