Wednesday, January 25, 2023 – The Oscars nominations have been announced today, January 24.
Riz Ahmed and Alison Williams hosted the announcement presentation from the Academy’s Samuel Goldwyn Theatre in Beverly Hills, California.
Everything Everywhere All at Once leads the nominees for the 95th Academy Awards.
The film scored 11 noms, including best picture, where it will compete along with All Quiet on the Western Front, Avatar: The Way of Water, The Banshees of Inisherin, Elvis, The Fabelmans, Tár,
Top Gun: Maverick, Triangle of Sadness and Women Talking.
Following Everything Everywhere with the most nominations are All Quiet on the Western Front and The Banshees of Inisherin with nine each, Elvis with eight, The Fabelmans with seven, Tár and Top Gun: Maverick with six each, and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever with five.
The 95th Oscars will take place on Sunday, March 12 at the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood and air live on ABC.
