Teenager arrested for breaking into MICHAEL JORDAN’s $15m Chicago mansion


 Friday April 7, 2023 – An 18-year-old has reportedly been arrested for breaking into NBA legend Michael Jordan’s $15million mansion in Chicago.

The 60-year-old Jordan was not in the property at the time, according to TMZ, but the teenager was found inside the building after neighbours alerted the police in the afternoon of Tuesday, April 4.

The teenager named Raiden Hagerdorn by local media has been charged with criminal trespass and two counts of criminal damage to property.

Jordan has not lived at the property since 2012. He has been trying to sell it for 13 years, initially putting it up for sale for $29million. TMZ says its latest value is just under $15m.

The property has nine bedrooms. 19 baths, an indoor basketball gymnasium, pool, tennis court, and cigar room.

The gates to the property are also personalized with the No 23 – the number synonymous with Jordan and his all-conquering NBA career with the Chicago Bulls.

Jordan was a six-time NBA champion with the Bulls in a career spanning from 1991-98, as well as five-time MVP. He retired in 2003 after time with the Washington Wizards.
