I will not allow you to disturb RUTO again! KALONZO shocks RAILA as he vows to stop him by any means necessary from leading anti-government protests again

 Monday, October 23, 2023 – Wiper Party Leader Kalonzo Musyoka is now prepared to betray Azimio Leader Raila Odinga if push comes to shove.

This is after he vowed to stop Raila Odinga from leading anti-government demonstrations again.

Speaking at a church service in Kajiado County, Kalonzo stated that the duty to check the government from excesses does not solely lie with the Opposition, adding that Kenyans have a duty to stand up for themselves.

Kalonzo was responding to calls from the clergy asking the Opposition bigwig to check the government over perceived excesses such as the arbitrary introduction of new taxes.

”You have asked Raila not to relax and keep quiet, it’s not just Raila and Kalonzo that should be advocating for the rights”

Earlier in the week, during his visit to the Mavoko demolition site, Raila Odinga condemned the government’s move to demolish property threatening to act if the government does not stop. 

”You can’t wait for just Kalonzo and Raila to go back to demonstrations, I can’t allow Raila to go back to demonstrations, let the country do it,” he stated

Kalonzo further claimed that during the anti-government protests earlier in the year, there were deliberate efforts to assassinate Raila.

He further stated that it is the same demonstrations that led to the ongoing ceasefire talks. The Wiper Party leader asked the government side to be sincere in the dialogue.
