RUTO’s statement about KING CHARLES III’s visit to Kenya on October 31.

 


Monday, October 23, 2023 – President William Ruto has today issued a statement regarding the visit of the head of British monarch, King Charles III, on October 31 this year.

In a statement on Monday after meeting with British High Commissioner to Kenya Neil Wigan, Ruto said the country is ready to welcome King Charles III and Queen Camilla to Kenya

The President noted King Charles III’s visit to Kenya is a testament to the depth of relations between Kenya and the United Kingdom.

“Kenya is honoured that King Charles III and Queen Camilla have chosen our country for their first visit to a Commonwealth nation. This choice is a testament to the depth of our relations and the mutual beneficial nature of our partnership.

“The visit is a significant opportunity to enhance our collaboration in various areas of shared interest,” the president stated.

The United Kingdom (UK) government recently announced that King Charles III and Queen Camilla would visit Kenya on Tuesday, October 31, 2023.
