Thursday, August 29, 2024 - Jennifer Lopez, 52 has been reportedly left 'very upset and disappointed' by her estranged husband, 52 after she officially pulled the plug on her two-year marriage to the actor.
The actress/singer, 52, filed for divorce from the Argo
star on Tuesday, August 20, citing 'irreconcilable differences.' She also
listed April 26, 2024, as their date of separation.
'It's really hit her hard. She's very upset and disappointed
with Ben,' a source told PEOPLE on Wednesday.
This comes amid rumours that Affleck has been 'hanging
out' with RFK Jr.'s daughter Kick Kennedy, 36, in recent weeks.
Insiders revealed to DailyMail that Kick and Ben are
'enjoying spending time' together but the writer is remaining 'tight-lipped'
about their connection because she doesn't want to be seen as a 'mistress'.
The Oscar-winner and Kick previously enjoyed a brief
fling before he and JLo rekindled their romance in 2021.
The source stressed that the pair's romance did not ever
overlap with the actor's relationship with Jennifer.
'They didn't have any affair during his marriage, but it is
interesting to Kick's friends that as soon as this divorce happened all of a
sudden Ben is hanging out with an old hookup whose family he sees as royalty.'
As for how Kick views the actor, the insider stated: 'She
thinks that he is intelligent and very much her style but is being incredibly
tight-lipped because she does not want to be seen as a mistress.
'She is not a mistress. She is nothing like JLo and likes to
keep her private life private.'
PEOPLE's insider further dished on Wednesday that
Jennifer is no longer 'comfortable' living in the $ 60 million Beverly Hills
mansion she and Ben once shared with their kids.
'She and Ben bought the house for the whole family. It's way
too big for her and filled with too many memories as well,' they explained.
It's been claimed that Ben's 'bad moods' play a role in the
downfall of their two-year marriage.
PEOPLE reported Tuesday that Jennifer spent a great deal of
time trying to look after her spouse and was like a mother to him.
The outlet added that Ben often got 'frustrated' and went to
a 'dark place' even though he had a beautiful wife and three children with ex
Jennifer Garner, 51.
'Jennifer did spend a lot of time making sure Ben was happy
and had everything he needed,' the insider said.
It was also added that Ben was more like her son than her
mate, even though she is only three years older than him.
'The way she cared for him was almost childlike,' the source
continued.
And her pals urged her to stop because pumping up his moods
was not her job. 'Friends constantly reminded her that she's not responsible
for his feelings,' it was added.
'He's very moody and dark at times.'
But Lopez is the opposite of that, it was claimed: 'Jennifer
appreciates life in another way. She's very grateful for everything.'
Another source close to Garner told the site that he 'has
never handled stress well.'
'He doesn't have good coping skills. He gets easily
frustrated and tends to be moody. When he's relaxed and in a good mood, it's
amazing to be around him,' the source claimed. 'But more often, he's upset or
frustrated.'
'Many times, it's just something small that he gets stuck
on,' the source added.
'He really doesn't understand how his bad mood affects
people around him. It's just not fun being around that kind of negativity.'
But Affleck 'thrives' when it comes to his children or his
work.
'He thrives when he has work projects. He's been great when
it comes to the kids too. He's doing exactly what he wants. He seems very
happy,' said the source.
PEOPLE also alleged that the lovebirds grew apart
because of 'distance' as Lopez travelled so much for work.
