Tuesday, August 27, 2024 - A man claiming to be from South Africa has released a video calling for a ceasefire from Nigerians after an online spat between both countries split into reality.
Recall that last week, South Africans started an economic
sabotage of sorts by ordering Uber from Nigeria and sending the drivers to
addresses in Nigeria. Nigerians living in Nigeria retaliated and brought
businesses in South Africa to a halt after ordering for online services in
South Africa from the comfort of their homes in Nigeria and giving the
addresses of random South African homes as the pick-up location.
In a video going viral on TikTok, a man is seen saying he's
speaking on behalf of South Africans. He begged Nigerians to stop the economic
sabotage, adding that a lot of businesses have been damaged as a result. See
