The duo, who have maintained a strong bond over the years, were spotted holding hands and engaging in what appeared to be an emotional conversation during the after-party for J Lo’s new movie, Unstoppable.
PEOPLE reported that Lopez and Damon took a break from the
festivities to catch up in a private moment that lasted around 20 minutes.
While the details of their discussion remain private, insiders suggest J Lo may
have been opening up about her recent split from Affleck. Lopez filed for
divorce last month after rekindling her romance with Affleck, and reports
indicate the couple had no prenup in place.
Despite the heavy emotions of the conversation, Damon
appeared to play the role of a supportive friend, providing a listening ear and
comfort. Damon, who co-produced Unstoppable through his and
Affleck's production company, Artists Equity, has been a close friend to both
Lopez and Affleck over the years.
