Thursday, October 24, 2024 - Rob Lowe is opening up about a brief romance he shared with Demi Moore during their early days in Hollywood. In an appearance on Kelly Ripa's podcast, Let's Talk Off Camera, Lowe revealed that he and Moore "briefly had a thing" in the 1980s while both were part of the iconic Brat Pack.
According to Lowe, their fling happened sometime in the
mid-'80s, before Moore became engaged to fellow Brat Pack member Emilio
Estevez. He jokingly referred to their hookup as part of a "big, big sex
orgy" among the cast of the 1985 film St. Elmo's Fire, in
which they both starred.
The two also worked together on the 1986 film About
Last Night. Reflecting on their on-set chemistry, Lowe said, "Anytime
you put young 20-something men and women together, hookups are
inevitable."
Despite their brief romance, Lowe and Moore remained
friends, with Lowe even attending her wedding to Bruce Willis years later.
