Thursday, November 21, 2024 - Residents of one of the neighbourhoods in Nairobi’s Eastlands area were treated to a dramatic incident after a man torched their rented house, accusing his wife of engaging in extra-marital affairs.

In the video, tenants are heard wailing as the fire spreads to other houses.

The couple was heard arguing before the jilted husband torched the house.

The incident comes amid rising cases of femicide in the country.
