Friday, August 21, 2015 – President Uhuru Kenyatta has come to the rescue of Baby Fidels Muthoni, who is supposed to travel to Canada for a head surgery.
The head of state, who was touched by the baby’s story, has donated Ksh. 800,000 to cater for her expenses.
This comes barely a few days after Alejnandro Wanjau, disappeared into thin air with Ksh. 2.8 million, which had been donated by well wishers to foot Baby Fidelis's bills
Mr. Wanjau is currently cooling his heels in the cell, after he was arrested by detectives on Thursday afternoon at the ABC Place in Westlands.
According to the detectives, baby Fidelis only required Sh700,000.
