Thursday, 24 September 2015-Deputy President, William Ruto, has
touched the hearts of many people after he adopted a young girl who was rescued by well-wishers
after she was buried alive by her mother after birth.
The young
lady named, Nadia, was found buried alive and her body party decomposing but
was rescued by Good Samaritans, who took him to a Children's home in Machakos, where she has been staying for years.
The Deputy
President has now adopted the little girl and made her part of his family. He
has even re-named her after his mother and as they say, God works in a
miraculous way.
This is what
Ruto had to say as he adopted the little angel.
The story of Nadia who
was found buried her body partly decomposing & abandoned as a new born ,and
has been under the care of Sisters at Madre Ippolata Children's Home touched my
heart. I've named her Cherono after my mother and made her part of my family.
