Gospel star RUFFTONE is a 'wanted' man: See why the KOREANS are looking for him


Thursday, 24 September 2015 - Veteran Kenyan gospel singer Smith Mwatia, popularly known as Rufftone has been appointed as the Goodwill ambassador for Public Diplomacy by the Republic of Korea.

The “Mwikulu” hit maker is expected to start work in his new capacity as from September 30th 2015.

According to sources close to the musician, who is the elder brother to gospel star Daddy Owen, Rufftone’s letter of appointment will be presented next week at a ceremony that will be presided over by the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Kenya Mr.Ki-Jun YOU and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea Yun Byung-se. 

Rufftone will serve as the Goodwill Ambassador for a term of two years. 

Congratulations are in order for the ever hard working musician.
