Tuesday, 15 September 2015 - Drama ensued at the Sunrise Mega Mall in Eastleigh’s First Avenue after police cordoned off the mega shopping centre after suspecting that gunmen were hiding in inside.
The Tuesday morning drama saw police sealing off all exits of the mall as they tried to flash out the armed robbers.
The gunmen are said to have entered the mall, which hosts business shops, a bank and high-end offices, at around 3 am and triggered the alarm. They were however unable to escape as they were trapped inside the mall.
The police operation brought business in the busy area to a halt.
