Monday, September 21, 2015 – Veteran Kenyan gospel singer, Esther Wahome, is now smiling all the way to the bank, after she landed a lucrative with Airtel Kenya.
The singer, who is popularly known to many for her hit song “Kuna Dawa” was paid by the telecommunication firm to endorse winners in the ongoing “Smartika Na 5X” promotion.
Speaking during a recent media interview, Esther Wahome, said that she was humbled by how big corporate are still finding her influential and relevant.
“I am glad that even after all these years of gospel music ministry, big corporates are still finding me relevant and influential. It's by God's favour that they still have faith in me to successfully sell their brands and I don't take it for granted,” she said.
It’s alleged that the award winning gospel singer was also paid a huge sum of money, which she has declined to make it public.
