Friday, 11 September 2015 - Weeks after the Deputy President William Ruto offered to clear award winning gospel singer Size 8’s maternity fee,  the talented singer has finally broken her silence in regards to the offer. 

According to a local tabloid, the Mateke hit maker, has welcomed the Deputy President’s move adding that he had agreed to cater for her expenses even if she delivers in a private hospital. 

The DP made the kind offer after the gospel singer invited him to shake a leg during the launch of musician Jaguar’s Youth Empowerment Foundation. According to the DP he felt guilty that he did not know that the singer was expectant. He went ahead and offered to foot Size 8 and her hubby, DJ Mo’s hospital bill when the baby finally arrives in December 2015.

An elated Size 8 is said to have accepted the DP’s offer and has gone ahead to book a delivery room at the Karen Hospital, four months prior to her delivery day. 

“I can’t wait for the baby to come. This is the best thing that ever happened to my life. I love Karen Hospital and the Deputy President should be ready to settle that small bill…my delivery room has already been booked, four months ahead of the delivery!” the singer said.
